Leverage and its principles
Leverage simply means to calculate credit as the initial capital, which is the investment capital X leverage ratio. A leverage of 100 times means that an investor can make a maximum number of transactions of 10,000 with an initial capital of 100.
Investors can use leverage to amplify the number of transactions. An increase in the number also means an increase in risks, gains and losses. Therefore, leveraged trading is also called Maximum Leverage.

In leveraged trading, the margin ratio is also essential. Margin Ratio=Account Equity/Used Margin. The margin ratio is the most intuitive indicator to consider the current loss tolerance of the account. In any leveraged transaction, when the margin ratio is lower than a certain ratio, positions will no longer be held and face forced liquidation.
NCE's mandatory liquidation margin ratio is 50%. Once your margin ratio is less than 50%, the position that suffers the greatest loss will be forced to close automatically by the system at the current price. Until the margin ratio is higher than 50%, the forced liquidation of other positions can be avoided.
For leveraged transactions, even if the leverage ratio is 2 times, it means that you cannot continue to hold positions unconditionally. Because leverage means that your account has borrowed credit, and the borrowed credit does not participate in the profit and loss of your account. So, when your account equity is small, to ensure that your loss does not exceed the investment principal, the position will be forced to liquidate by the system.
To avoid forced liquidation, the most common strategy in leveraged trading is to set a stop-loss price. Also, do not use high leverage to trade more than you can afford. Otherwise, the worst case is that an investment failure will result in a loss of all your investment principal.
Negative equity protection
We often see risk warnings in leveraged trading: the worst result is that your loss exceeds all your investment. Negative equity is a real existence in leveraged trading. Stop-loss and Take-profit
To avoid forced liquidation and negative equity, investors can set stop-loss prices, take-profit prices, or both stop-loss and take-profit prices for orders placed.
Both stop-loss price and take-profit price mean that when the market price reaches or breaks through the price you set, your order will be closed at the current market price that can be traded immediately. The principle is the same as buying and selling at market prices in stock transactions the same.
If the market price exceeds the stop-loss or take-profit price you set, your stop-loss price and the take-profit price will be the first market price, and your order history will indicate GAP/SL GAP/TP.
